Reflection

This week we compared the ruins of Jerusalem with the ruins of our world. We also examined the ruins of our own lives, while Ezekiel gave us the bold encouragement that God is Lord of the ruins.

As you reflect on the ruins of our world and perhaps those of your individual life, read Ezekiel chapter 1 and 2, to see how God introduces Himself to Ezekiel. Tomorrow we will continue by looking at some specific details in those chapters. God wants to communicate some powerful messages to us, and He does that in the way He worked with Ezekiel.
